MR GOH KOON SENG
Executive Director
Mr Goh Koon Seng was appointed as Executive Director of
See Hup Seng on 12 July 2010. Mr Goh is responsible for the
management of the day-to-day business operations of the
corrosion prevention business. He supports the Executive
Chairman and Managing Director on the Group’s corporate
and business development matters. Mr Goh was the Group’s
Chief Financial Officer and Joint Company Secretary from
2006 to 2007. He rejoined the Group from Jiutian Chemical
Group Limited where he was Chief Financial Officer from
2007 to 2010. Mr Goh was also previously the General
Manager (Singapore, Indonesia, Philippines and Brunei)
of Cerebos Pacific Ltd, where he held a number of senior
finance and management positions over a span of 16 years
from 1990. He holds a Bachelor of Accountancy degree
(Honours) from the National University of Singapore. He is a
Certified Public Accountant and a member of the Institute of
Certified Public Accountants of Singapore.
MR CHAN HUAN YONG
Executive Director
Mr Chan Huan Yong was appointed as Executive Director of
See Hup Seng on 20 August 2010. He is also Chief Executive
Officer of the Group’s refined petroleumdistribution business,
TAT Petroleum. His responsibilities at TAT Petroleum include
supervising the day-to-day business operations and finance
division, developing the strategic business direction and
overseeing the development of overseas markets. Mr
Chan also supports the Executive Chairman and Managing
Director on the Group’s corporate and business development
matters. Before joining TAT Petroleum as General Manager in
2004, Mr Chan has held senior positions at Esso Singapore
Pte Ltd, Esso (Tianjin) China Limited, ExxonMobil Asia Pacific
Pte Ltd and F J Hill Consulting Pte Ltd. He holds a Bachelor
of Engineering (Electrical) (First-class Honours) degree
from the National University of Singapore and a Master of
Business Administration (Finance) (Dean’s list) degree from
Nanyang Business School.
MR TEO CHOON KOW, WILLIAM
Independent Director
Mr William Teo was appointed as Independent Director
of See Hup Seng on 9 January 2006. He is currently the
Chairman of the Audit Committee and a member of the
Nominating and Remuneration Committees. A Certified
Public Accountant and MBA holder, Mr Teo was a venture
capitalist at Walden Investment International Group up to
2004. Prior to that, he worked as a consultant at one of the
Big Four accounting firms in the areas of corporate finance
and merger & acquisitions. Mr Teo is also a director of Loyz
Energy Limited, Wee Hur Holdings Ltd, PSL Holdings Ltd,
Fral Ballistics Pte Ltd, Ascendent Technology Pte Ltd and
Victoria Minerals and Resources Pte Ltd.
MR FOO MENG KEE
Independent Director
Mr Foo Meng Kee was appointed as Independent Director of
See Hup Seng on 9 January 2006. He is currently Chairman
of the Nominating Committee and a member of the Audit
and Remuneration Committees. Mr Foo holds a Bachelor of
Commerce degree (Honours) from the Nanyang University
of Singapore, as well as a Master of Business Administration
degree from the University of Dubuque, United States of
America. He has extensive experience in the shipbuilding
and ship repair industries. He was the former Managing
Director of Hitachi Zosen Singapore Ltd (now known as
Keppel Shipyard Limited). Mr Foo is presently the Managing
Director of M K Capital Pte Ltd and holds directorships in
several listed companies, namely, Jiutian Chemical Group
Ltd, Sinarmas Land Limited and Lee Metal Group Ltd.
MR WU YU LIANG
Independent Director
Mr Wu Yu Liang was appointed Independent Director of
See Hup Seng on 10 January 2007. He is currently the
Chairman of the Remuneration Committee and a member
of the Audit Committee. Mr Wu graduated in 1985 from the
National University of Singapore with a degree in Bachelor
of Laws with Second Class Honours (Upper Division). He
was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme
Court of Singapore in 1986 and the High Court of Malaya in
1991. Mr Wu is currently the Managing Director of the law
corporation Messrs Wu LLC. His main areas of practice are
corporate and commercial laws as well as litigation. Mr Wu
commenced legal practice with the law firm Messrs Lee &
Lee as a legal assistant in 1986. He joined Messrs Arthur
Loke & Partners as a senior associate in 1989 and was made
a partner in 1991. In 1993, he set up the law firm of Messrs
Yeo Wu & Thian with two other partners. Mr Wu is also an
independent director of Jiutian Chemical Group Ltd, China
Environment Ltd., and Pan Asian Holdings Limited.
